Charlie Williams was born and raised in Worcester, a town made famous by a sauce. He lives there again now after stints in exotic places around the world, such as Swansea. And Leeds. As well as novels he has written numerous short stories, most of which are listed around here somewhere. In 2009, the short film ARK was screened at Cannes and other festivals - screenplay by Charlie.
By strange luck or genuine misunderstanding, Charlie has appeared as a proper guest author at numerous events including the Guardian Hay Festival, Harrogate Crime Writing Festival, Bath Litereature Festival, Birmingham Book Festival, the Big Chill, Quais du Polar, Brussels Book Fair and the Green Man Festival.
